Rankera / Real estate
AI search optimization for real estate
Be the agent AI recommends in your market.
Buyers, sellers and landlords now ask ChatGPT and Google who the best realtor or property manager in town is. Rankera publishes the market guides, neighbourhood videos and articles that put your name in those answers. Every morning it checks those searches in Google and shows you the result.
- From $250 per month
- City and neighbourhood searches
- Daily checks in Google
Agents buyers in this market often recommend include:
- 1Your Agencynamed in 4 sources
- 2Competing agency A
- 3Competing agency B
Why it matters
The first agent shortlist now comes from an AI answer.
First-time buyers, sellers, investors and landlords each ask a different question, and each gets a short list of names back.
Listing portals show every agent in town. AI answers pick a few, based on guides, comparisons and videos that explain who suits which client.
Neighbourhood guides and area videos that name your agency tell AI tools where you actually work.
How it works
Content built around your market, not a generic template.
- 1ResearchFind the agencies AI names in your area
- 2PlanChoose searches by service and area
- 3PublishGuides, videos and articles each month
- 4TrackCheck your market searches every morning
Articles such as "best realtor in [city]" and first-time buyer guides on independent real estate websites run by Rankera, naming and recommending your agency.
YouTube videos and Shorts on moving to an area, choosing an agent or what management fees cover, each naming your business. Shorts are also posted as Instagram Reels.
Extra articles on Medium from a second angle, plus short summary pages on GitHub, a site Google and AI tools read often, that tie your articles and videos together.
Built for teams and brokerages too. A brokerage can plan content for each office or market, and agencies can manage several brands from one dashboard.
Searches we target
The searches people make when they are choosing who to use.
Good fits include independent agents and teams, brokerages, property management companies, UK letting and estate agents, short-term rental managers, mortgage brokers and new-build developers.
How do I get my real estate business recommended by ChatGPT?
Get your business named in the sources ChatGPT reads when someone asks for an agent or property manager in your area, such as market guides, "best of" lists and local videos. Rankera publishes that content every month around the searches your clients make, with your business named and recommended. Rankera checks Google AI Overviews and Google rankings daily; ChatGPT answers are not measured.
What is AI search optimization for real estate?
It is the work of getting an agent, brokerage or property manager named in AI answers and Google AI Overviews for searches in its market. It targets the searches people make when choosing, such as "best realtor in [city]" or "best property management companies in [city]".
Does it work for property managers and letting agents?
Yes. Landlords search differently from buyers, with questions like "how much do property managers charge" and "best letting agents in [city]". Rankera finds those searches for your areas and publishes articles and videos around them, so your management or lettings service is named for the landlords you want to reach.
Can a brokerage cover several offices or markets?
Yes. Each market can have its own city and neighbourhood searches in your monthly plan. Markets that do not fit this month are saved for later months, and a bigger plan covers more of them sooner. Agencies can switch between brands in one dashboard and send each client a report with their own branding.
Is this the same as buying real estate leads?
No. Rankera does not sell or deliver leads. It publishes content that names your business in the places AI answers and Google draw from, so people choosing an agent hear your name. You can edit the searches and titles in each monthly plan and approve every article before it publishes.
Do the mentions link to our website?
The industry website articles name and recommend your business but do not link to your site. Your YouTube video descriptions name your business and link to your website, and the GitHub pages link your articles and videos together.
How much does it cost for a real estate business?
Plans start at $250 a month for 20 target searches. For each search, Rankera publishes a mention on an industry website, a Medium article, a YouTube video, a Short, an Instagram Reel and a GitHub page. Bigger plans cover more searches, up to 350 a month for $2,000, and larger custom plans are available.
How do I see results?
Every morning Rankera checks your target searches in Google and shows whether an AI Overview appears, whether it names your business, whether it links to you, and where your website, videos and Medium articles rank. You see how each search looked when you started and how it looks now. PDF and CSV reports are included.
